A Look at the League of Dismay

The first episode of the show is going to be our chance at explaining how the characters met and became a group, and more than creating a new bio, I will just re-iterate what General Chaos Himself says in the pilot episode, “cult”.

it was May 3rd, 1970. General Chaos (Real name unknown) had been discharged from the military for aiding  a wounded Japanese soldier who was attacking General Chaos’ base. Chaos was working for Kent State’s biology department with his trusty companion, the japanese kamikaze he rescued from a burning plane in WWII, Kaizuki Fong, who was so fat that his stomach crashed his attack plane on a beach where General Chaos was stationed (General Chaos broke the glass bulb which housed Kaizuki, and freed him, a deed for which Kaizuki owed General Chaos his life.)

Wiley Quagglestock was working in a clock shop. While unloading a large grandfather clock, Wiley was crushed, almost to death. But, with a new experimental surgery, the doctors were able to bring him back to life, only he was filled with clock parts, making his movements a tad more robotic, and giving him the ability to arrange and distort time itself. His fae is also horribly disfigured.

General Chaos, now living his fellow societal misfits  Wiley (Who donned an hourglass costume and took on the name Sundial) and Kaizuki (who the General had then nicknamed “Two Ton” were zoomed via a secret government tractor beam to Vicinity 24, a government testing site where General Chaos was then commanded to use his scientific and paramilitary knowledge too do tests on local inmates.

Dale Derkoff was  a coy young radioactivity technician, hired by the government for the testing of new radioactive rays on  local prison inmates.

Jeffrey Gossumer was just that inmate. Bastard son of the Communist supervillain Red Skull and Suzanne Summers, Jeffrey was a small-time crook, mainly home robberies and the like. He was arrested for drunkenly getting behind the wheel of his motorcycle and mowing down a large group of Catholic priests.  In Vicinity 24’s secret laboratory, Jeffrey was tied to a chair and had a gamma beam jammed at his nose. Preparing for complete annhialation, Jeffrey closed his eyes, and before he knew it, the young technician (Dale) didn’t make it out of the room in time, and the two were melted together to form a hideous transmuted being.

The government officials viciously grabbed at the monster, and before they could destroy it, General Chaos’ hand grasped its’ and he pulled the monster to safety. the four made their getaway in the gremlin.

From then on, they knew that these institutions to which they had donated their time and lives would NEVER understand them, and so it was their job to take their revenge. They formed the League of Dismay, and have been causing pain and destruction for 30 years.

The group have recently taken a hiatus from evil to concentrate on themselves for a change, and they have graciously allowed The Hive of Dukes to capture their every last moment on film, for my new show,

LIVING EVIL.
